Schenectady man accused of assault with pot

An alleged attack with a kitchen pot early Wednesday has a city man facing a felony assault charge, authorities said. Alex Roches-Robles, 35, of McClellan Street, faces one count each of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies. Roches-Robles is accused of using the kitchen pot to hit the victim just after 1:30 a.m. at his residence. The victim suffered a cut to the head that required treatment.
