Independent motion pictures need to find their audiences, and Tom Gilroy is happy to make the introductions. The actor and director will bring his locally filmed movie, “The Cold Lands,” to Albany’s Spectrum 8 Theatres on Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. screening. Gilroy, who lives in the Catskills, will conduct a question-and-answer session at the conclusion of the 101-minute film.
