Police say Schenectady man violated order of protection

A city man violated an order of protection and held a woman for two hours at her residence in February, authorities said. Brian K. Patterson, 51, of Crane Street, faces charges of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, as well as misdemeanor petty larceny, unlawful imprisonment and criminal mischief.
