Colonie Central coach faces drug charge

A long-time Colonie Central High School teacher and varsity basketball coach was arrested on a cocaine possession charge and has been placed on administrative leave, the South Colonie School District said. On its website, the district said it was notified Friday that James Boland, 55, an employee since 1996, was arrested by Albany police on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
