Saratoga County wants state to waive license fee for vets

Saratoga County supervisors on Tuesday called on the state Department of Motor Vehicles to not require veterans to pay to have a veteran notation added to their driver’s license. Under a law that took effect last fall, honorably discharged veterans can have a notation of their veteran status added to their license or identification card.
