CNSE, SUNYIT merger approved

The State University of New York Board of Trustees approved a merger between the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering in Albany and the SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica. The SUNY board voted in favor to combine the two schools during a meeting Wednesday afternoon. CNSE and SUNYIT plan to merge by January 1, 2015.
