Schenectady County Jail inmate allegedly possessed marijuana

A Schenectady County Jail inmate faces contraband charges for allegedly possessing marijuana and matches in his cell, authorities said. Stephen Wallace, age unavailable, faces one count each of first- and second-degree promoting prison contraband, felonies. He is accused of possessing the matches and a rolled piece of paper with marijuana in his cell March 4. The items were discovered during a cell inspection, according to papers.
