Saratoga Springs man charged with gas station break-in

A Saratoga Springs man was arrested Monday on a charge of third-degree burglary after an investigation into smash-and-grab burglaries around the county, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department said. Eric D. McCleary, 45, of Walworth Street, was charged with third-degree burglary in connection with a break-in at a service station on Route 50 in Milton in which cigarettes were taken. He was sent to the Saratoga County Jail with no bail set.
