Tractor trailer gets stuck under bridge in Princetown

A tractor trailer driver disregarded the posted high restriction sign for a bridge on Pangburn Road, resulting in his truck hitting a bridge protection beam early Monday, state police said. The accident happened just before 2 a.m. on Pangburn Road at a railroad overpass. A beam, in place to protect the rail line, was struck, with the trailer wedging underneath, police said.
