That was horribly disrespectful of the students and it should not be applauded or excused. There are consequences or should be to correct inappropriate behavior. Part of the problem in our society is lack of consequences and this is a perfect example. They are young adults and if such disrespect would have been given to them or classmates speeches - what would have been their behavior?

joyce, those kids don't get a break, do they? So many success stories here of kids knocked down and getting back up, standing up bravely to adversity and succeeding and you choose to scold for rambunctious behavior? Please, lighten up.
