— The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man who they believe committed two armed robberies at the AM Best truck stop in Fultonville in the past four months — one in March and one in June.

The suspect displayed a knife during both robberies but did not harm anyone, police said.

Police obtained video surveillance from the June 15 robbery, which took place at 2:20 a.m., that showed the suspect sporting pink gloves, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a pink or blue bandana over his face, and black and white checkered pajama bottoms.

The suspect fled the scene in a 2004 or 2007 gray or tan Ford Freestar heading west on Riverside Drive.

The investigating officer said the man stole $2,300 on June 15 but was unsure what he stole during the first robbery on March 10.

During the first robbery, the suspect wore a gray jacket, dark pants, a purple bandana and pink gloves. He fled the scene on foot and headed west on Riverside Drive and then south on Schlote Avenue.

The suspect has been described as a male, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, with short blond hair.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the robberies to call (518) 853-5500.
