Mark Wik’s bases-clearing double highlighted a four-run fifth inning and carried the Tri-City ValleyCats to a 6-1 victory over the Vermont Lake Monsters Thursday in a New York-Penn League game at Centennial Park. The ValleyCats rebounded from Wednesday’s shutout loss to Vermont to improve to 4-3.
