Coroner rules rafter’s death a drowning

The Milton woman who was killed in a rafting accident on the rain-swollen Kayaderosseras Creek on Friday died by drowning, according to an autopsy done Tuesday. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said the autopsy done at Saratoga Hospital ruled that Diana Henderson’s death was a result of “asphyxiation by drowning.” The 52-year-old’s remains were recovered Monday morning on the stream bank in Malta after high and swift waters receded, exposing her location.
