Despite what professors wrote, climate change is not "settled science" In the May 23 and 24 editions of The Gazette, you had two letters-to-the-editor from two men who said they were associate professors of biology. Only idiots call it Global Warming anymore. In fact that term hasn't been used on over a decade. Most credible scientists speak of Climate Change. Perhaps Mr. Gaetani has been living in a house with no windows, but I can attest to the severity of the climate in my 30+ years. Droughts are longer (John, check out California and most of the mid-west) and the rains we get now are often deluges, not rain. Getting 4 inches of rain in a day is NOT normal. Yes the temperatures have been getting warmer and colder for eons. Most of those changes were caused by "events". It's not a volcano that's messing with the atmosphere, it's all the crap we send up in smoke. Just keep on burning plastic.
