Second teen arrested in Gloversville tree vandalism

— A second man has been arrested in the vandalism case at Gloversville High School, police say.

Town resident Vincent Scott, 18, was arrested during the course of the investigation and has been charged with criminal trespass and conspiracy for cutting down 17 trees that once surrounded school property, according to police.

Police said that Scott was involved in planning the prank but acted as a “look-out” but did not part take “in the actual cutting down of the trees.”

Kurtis Callen, 18, of Gloversville was arrested Friday and charged with felony criminal mischief, criminal trespass and assault.
