Surveillance leads to Amsterdam drug arrests
AMSTERDAM Three Amsterdam men were arrested Wednesday on drug charges after a police operation focusing on those loitering to purchase drugs, police said.
The arrests came after surveillance by Amsterdam police, with assistance from the state police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
Police conducted two traffic stops, arresting a total of three men. Police seized heroin, cocaine and about $1,665 in cash.
Charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance were: Heriberto Nadal, 22, of 11 Williams St., Pedro Rosado, 20, of 10 Crane St.; and Zahtwon Pringle, 23, of 35 Eagle St.
