So are we not considered 'Friends and Family"...and where is our free meal as we the Taxpayers of Schenectady are Partners in this endeavor, I think we deserve at least one Free Meal for all the money we laid out for them to open this massive restaurant.

My concern is the variety of the menu as well the level of service. When Garcia's Mexican restaurant was still in operation they had a great and wide open variety of Latino dishes. What has been listed here seems to be a limited menu and if that is going to be so, the people of this area would be better served by going to Taco Bell for the same food at a lesser price.

If the food in Hudson is any indication the menu that they do have will suffice. Give it a chance! Burger King and McDonald's sells hamburgers but get the same hamburger at Juicy Burger and there is a world of difference. Wake up! I've already heard critcism that the colors make it an eyesore but what about the run down condition it was in before. I can't wait to go there.

how about tax breaks for the other businesses who have been here for good and bad times? how about the residents tax breaks? How about metroplex and city taking care of businesses that are damaged by other businesses? Partnership is only for the chosen and is severly lacking obviously! and hopefully their staff wont be paying their payroll taxes ( as in bartenders giving 40% of tips to support staff, average is 10%) pay minimum wages thats why it is in place. Other then that wish them sincerely all the luck !

MR will be a great add to downtown, I appreciate the owner's dedication to historic preservation and local sourcing. Was there any reporting by the DG about how the city owned lot next to the RR tracks became MR property? Was there an auction? Or are they leasing it? Is part of it a park still?
