Schenectady man accused of assaulting ex-wife

A city man broke into his ex-wife’s residence early Wednesday and assaulted her, authorities said. Edwin M. Rosario, 35, of McClellan Street, was charged Wednesday with first-degree burglary, a felony, and third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. Rosario is accused of forcing his way into the woman’s residence at Steinmetz Homes and hitting her in the face with a closed fist, according to papers.
