It seems silly that when a municipality wants to put into place a proven technology such as red-light cameras to help improve traffic enforcement and public safety, it has to go to the state Legislature for permission. It is a cheap money maker. I'd love to have the same thing at the stop sign at my corner to especially catch all the people that blow by without even looking.
