Man gets up to three years in prison for attempted identity theft in Saratoga

— A man was sentenced in Saratoga County Court Monday to 11⁄2 to three years in prison for attempted identity theft.

Michael C. Humble, 52, of Lisha Kill Road, was sentenced by County Court Judge Jerry J. Scarano after pleading guilty in April to attempted first-degree identity theft.

Humble was arrested by Saratoga Springs police last November in connection with an incident in the city.

Also Monday:

Alex R. Mintzer, 24, of Madison Street, Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to one to three years in prison after pleading guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arrested Nov. 9 in Saratoga after he confronted police responding to his house with a large cleaver, police said.

Nathan W. Fitzgerald, 26, of Avenue M, Mechanicville, was placed on 10 years’ probation and ordered to register as a sex offender. He pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was charged with possession last August in Malta.
