Packing company issues far-reaching fruit recall

The Wawona Packing Co. has issued a voluntary recall of peaches, nectarines, plums and pluots packed between June 1 and July 12, citing potential listeria contamination. BJ’s Wholesale Club, Sam’s Club, Costco, Trader Joe’s and Price Chopper are some of the retailers that sold fruit being recalled.
