City could be facing a $120K repair bill

What looked like a little problem at Central Park could end up with a $120,000 repair bill. It started with pigeons taking over the rafters at the Central Park pavilion, and their droppings have some visitors seriously disgusted. “I’ve sat there praying, ‘Please don’t christen me,’ ” said city Councilwoman Leesa Perazzo. “You have food, you have people sitting there for programs, you have kids — and it’s not very sanitary.” The pavilion is used regularly ...

Now here's where Type A personalities, and in this case our self proclaimed 'Type A Lady' leave others in their wake to get harmed. Her choice to defer action is stupid, shortsighted, and potentially dangerous for individuals AND THE CITY.

Aside from harming individuals, if the city acts as landlord collecting rent on the pavilion aren't they bound to either stop renting the space, or, remediate the problem as soon as possible. Doesn't not addressing the problem immediately put the city at risk of being sued. Conversely; hasn't her solution, now made public, lessened the appeal of the pavilion, thus curtailing bookings.

This is why Type A Lady should have NO ROLE IN GOVERNANCE
