What about teachers that are making 100k plus per year with summers off along with a few weeks vacation during the school year. Now that's a great gig AND they don't have to wear bullet proof vests in order to hopefully come home to their families after their shift.

You are reading it! and please try to look at the objective side. Its a choice to be a teacher or police officer - if you don't like it the way it works - move on to something better. Obviously is shouldn't be a problem for unhappy employees to find something better after all they have excellent job skills.
