New York group lands battlefield program grant

FISHKILL, N.Y. — A Hudson Valley group working to preserve the nation's largest burial ground for Revolutionary War soldiers has received a nearly $25,000 grant from the federal government. The Friends of the Fishkill Supply Depot has received $24,600 from the National Park Service's American Battlefield Protection Program. The group will use the funds to create maps that depict archaeological features of the supply depot, which was located in the Dutchess County town of Fishkill. ...
