500 Glenville residents lose power

GLENVILLE — An estimated 500 customers were without power in Glenville due to an outage, according to National Grid.

The outage centers on Freemans Bridge Road and Maple Avenue. It also extends down Erie Boulevard passed Nott Street in Schenectady, according to a map available on the National Grid Web site.

The site estimates 503 customers were affected and the outage started just before 10 a.m.

Stop lights were out during this all along the route with only a couple of odd stop cones at intersections; this was NOT safe!
