DENVER — Hundreds gathered for a rally at the State Capitol and a march through downtown Denver to call for an end to what they called a humanitarian crisis brought on by conflict in Gaza.

Demonstrators waving red, black, white and green Palestinian flags and signs that read "End Collective Punishment" gathered on the Capitol lawn Saturday. Denver police said the group marched peacefully through Denver.

The rally was organized by a coalition of groups supporting a Palestinian homeland. One of the rally's leaders is Nadeen Ibrahim, president of the Muslim Student Association at the University of Colorado, Denver.

Rocket attacks from Gaza and Israeli military action over 12 days have killed two Israelis civilians and 342 Palestinians. United Nations officials say that about 50,000 Palestinians are already staying in UN shelters.

The people who are protesting Israels military incursion into Gaza have to pull their heads out of their gluteus maximus' and get a does of the way the real world operates and functions. Much to there naivety the world does maneuver around the use of force to keep those who support evil in the world in check. Yes, there are good and bad people in this world and as a majority of people see it the Palestinians one and all who throw their allegiance to the terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah bring the Israelis defensive actions against those who constantly lob mortars and rocks into the Jewish Homeland killing innocent Jews and others receive their just reward. Many of the people who support a Palestinian state don't realize that Israel supplies most of the food, water and utility power to these same people who want to push Israel into the sea as Iranian Clerics desire to do. So Israel has every right to defend their people and territory which is truly theirs just like America does....
