— A Hudson Falls woman was arrested on drunken-driving charges twice in one night, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said.

Carla M. Frieman, 50, was first stopped on Route 9 in Queensbury about 10:45 p.m. Monday and arrested on a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, deputies said. Her vehicle was left in the parking lot of a business on Route 9 while she was processed. Deputies said her blood-alcohol content was 0.2 percent, more than twice the legal limit for driving of 0.08 percent.

Frieman was released on an appearance ticket and given a ride to her residence about 11:55 p.m., they said. About a half-hour later, deputies were informed that Frieman was returning to her vehicle in Queensbury, intending to drive it home. A patrol arrived to find her attempting to leave the parking lot, leading to a second arrest about 1 a.m.

She was again released pending a future court appearance, deputies said.
