Roadwork to snarl I-90 bridge in Albany next three weekends

The state Department of Transportation is warning of major traffic delays near downtown Albany for the next three weekends because of construction work on the busy Patroon Island Bridge. The delays on the bridge that carries Interstate 90 over the Hudson River between Albany and Rensselaer counties are due to lane closures, part of a $145 million rehabilitation of the bridge.
