Schenectady businessman faces charges

A city man used someone else’s account to pay his business’ insurance, authorities said. Jerome O. Simpson, 49, of Barney Street, faces one count of third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and second-degree criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor. Simpson is accused of using the other person’s account from July 2013 to January to pay the insurance for his business, Direct Recovery Services.
