Arrest made in shooting outside Schenectady convenience store

A man has been charged with attempted murder in an April 19 shooting outside a convenience store on Van Vranken Avenue. Thomas T. Burns, 43, was charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment, all felonies, Schenectady police said.
