Storms knock down trees, out power in Ballston, Charlton

Parts of Ballston and Charlton had trees come down and experienced power outages when a severe thunderstorm passed through just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. "There were some pretty large trees that came down," said Saratoga County Emergency Services Director Carl Zeilman. Zeilman, who lives in Ballston, said he personally experienced the storm, and saw instances where trees had fallen on parked vehicles.
