Buhrmaster picked to lead bankers’ group

John H. Buhrmaster, president of 1st National Bank of Scotia, has been chosen to be the new chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America, a national organization representing nearly 7,000 community banks and more than 24,000 locations.
