Alleged Schenectady welder thief charged

A Schenectady man faces charges, accused of breaking into a business and taking a welder, authorities said. In the process, the man managed to cut power to the business, according to papers filed in court. William Calderon, 42, of 26 N. Jay St., was arrested Tuesday and charged with third-degree burglary and third degree criminal mischief, felonies.
