Schenectady fight injures officers, leads to 3 arrests

A large fight Thursday night resulted in three people being taken into custody and several officers suffering injuries, police said. A police spokesman late Thursday said the extent of the officers’ injuries was still being assessed, though none were life-threatening. The fight happened at about 8:20 p.m. at Schenectady and Van Voast streets, with multiple officers responding to the scene.
