— A police raid on a Clifton Park residence uncovered drugs and an indoor marijuana growing operation, state police said.

Police raided the residence Thursday afternoon and found a total of 13 marijuana plants in various stages of maturation. Police also found hashish, MDMA and processed marijuana.

The investigation also showed that four children lived in the residence with the two adults, resulting in child endangerment charges, police said.

Resident David B. Freedman, 47, of Clifton Park faces one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, both felonies. Freedman also faces one count each of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully growing cannabis, both misdemeanors.

Both Freedman and the other adult resident, Tricia M. Doakmajian, 41, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. A state police press release indicated the child endangerment count is the only count Doakmajian faces.

Both Freedman and Doakmajian were arraigned and released on their own recognizance. They are to return to court next week.
