Two women accused of shoplifting North Face and Uggs merchandise

Pictures posted on Facebook led to the arrests of two alleged local shoplifters. On Jan. 9 two young women visited the Alpin Haus sporting goods store on Route 30 in the Town of Amsterdam. They were witnessed by staff checking out racks of The North Face and UGG apparel and footwear. Yup, another incident with the suspect from Schenectady. She learned it well from family members who have a long history of shoplifting. I am glad action is being taken, but its unfortunate that children learn what they live in, so no surprise that this happened, it was only a matter of time. Sad that this family didnt do more with themselves or the upbringing of the young ones.
