ALBANY — The state Department of Environmental Conservation's new computerized system for hunting, fishing and trapping licenses is up and running.

The transition of hunter, angler and trapper data required a temporary shutdown for license sales and reporting of harvest data. With the system now operational, all harvest data that has not been reported must be submitted by Jan. 20.

Hunting, fishing and trapping licenses can be purchased at nearly 1,500 locations across the state as well as over the Internet.
