Schenectady man charged with having drugs in Mayfield

A Schenectady man is facing drug charges after police stopped him Friday for speeding in the town of Mayfield. State troopers in Mayfield say 19-year-old Nathan J. Lawyer had more than 25 grams of marijuana in his car when he was pulled over on Route 29A in Mayfield. Troopers detected the odor of pot when approaching the car and conducted a search of the vehicle. Lawyer was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. He ...
