No, not again. I know its probably a futile request.

We deserve an intelligent person with real depth. There must be other options to the one Ms. King has foreshadowed.

I'd expect any political party to exercise the power a majority affords it. I hate seeing it squandered.

Please! Not another "rubber-stamp" to join King. All the "newer" council members have brought much more to the council then the "veteran" King. She is a competent parliamentarian but has offered no vision for the future of the city nor leadership during her tenure. How about adding to the growing diversity of the council by finding a hispanic candidate? That would be most appropriate given the growing population in the city.

I'm afraid they'll seek balance by adding a Slav. For my money, if they really sought 'balanced' representation reflecting the electorate they'd appoint Joe Lazarri.

What's the matter, Schenectady not good enough for you anymore? After all your liberal socialist policies made it what it is. Joe Lazarri should have that seat. Also again I'm publicly asking Mootoovian to prove his citizenship.

I find it very interesting that as the only "Non Democrat" on the council I was not asked for my opinion on this whole appointment matter. I certainly have one!

By the reporter. Hopefully it was an oversight, but since most of the council majority could care less of my opinion, I plan on making a statement about this process after Ms. Brucker steps down.

Good for you. They better at least respect you. You spent so many monday and tuesday nights representing Belmont. i do not share your party but i admire your perseverance, endurance and now, diplomacy.
