Man struck by bus in Albany
ALBANY A man who had just gotten off a CDTA bus in Albany was struck by another bus as he crossed the street this afternoon, police said.
The extent of the man’s injuries was unknown, but he was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment, police spokesman officer Steven A. Smith said.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. at the corner of Washington Avenue and North Hawk Street, Smith said. The investigation was ongoing, but it appeared the man had just gotten off one bus and went to cross the street when he was struck by the second bus.
The man was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital.
