Gilboa supervisor to lead Schoharie County board

Gilboa Supervisor Anthony T. Van Glad, a Republican, will serve as chairman of the Schoharie County Board of Supervisors for the 2014 year. Van Glad, a 10-year supervisor of the southern Schoharie county town, was chosen to lead the board during a Jan. 3 meeting. The board’s 2013 chairman, Democrat Phil Skowfoe of Fulton, was chosen to serve as vice chairman, according to board clerk Sheryl Largeteau.
