— While the snow is tapering off, the National Weather Service will keep its winter storm warning in effect until 10 this morning.

The forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers this morning, then mostly sunny this afternoon with areas of blowing snow.

But it will be cold, with highs around 7 above.

With northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph expected, wind chill values could be as low as 23 below.
