— Today's snows have prompted the cancellation of flights at Albany International Airport.

The airport is open, with plows working to clear snow. But as of noon, airlines had reported 13 departing flights had been canceled and 16 arriving flights had been canceled.

Airport spokesman Doug Myers said a number of late night arrivals will likely be canceled as well, resulting in the cancellation of several early morning flights on Friday.

Southwest Airlines has cancelled all Friday morning flights until 9:20 am. The Southwest Airlines ticket counter will open at 5:00 a.m. Friday.
