Saratoga man charged with grand larceny
SARATOGA SPRINGS A city man was charged with third-degree grand larceny Tuesday for allegedly selling a mobile home he didn’t own, city police said.
Bruce C. Albert, 58, of Zephyr Lane, allegedly sold a mobile-home trailer to a third party for $11,000, even though he didn’t own the mobile home at the time.
Albert suing the city over a previous arrest last summer.
In a lawsuit filed in state Supreme Court in December, Albert contends that something improper transpired between him and police while he was in the city police lockup last August, and his lawyer is suing for access to a police video he says exists.
Court documents filed in the proceedings allege that officers had “improper physical contact” with Albert while he was in his holding cell and an outside walkway.
