Schenectady resident accused of illegally getting unemployment benefits

More than $4,000 in illegally obtained unemployment benefits have a city resident facing felonies, authorities said. Tarlee W. Lamadine, 24, of Albany Street, faces one count each of third-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. He is accused of illegally receiving the unemployment benefits from November 2011 to July 2012, while he was employed, according to papers filed in court.
