Albany woman accused of possessing altered $50 bills

An Albany woman was found with two altered $50 bills Wednesday, authorities said. Sada L. Moore, 27, of Morton Avenue, faces two counts of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. She is accused of possessing the bills in the area of Brandywine and Duane avenues Wednesday evening, according to papers filed in court. She also faces a misdemeanor count of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a traffic infraction.
