— A Milton forger was sentenced to two to four years in state prison in Saratoga County Court on Wednesday.

Edward J. Bernard, 34, of Rock City Road was sentenced by Judge Jerry J. Scarano after pleading guilty in December to one count of second-degree forgery. The incident occurred last September in Clifton Park, state police said.

In other court action:

Michael L. Parker, 28, of Ninth Street, Schenectady, was sentenced to four years in prison on his earlier guilty plea to attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was also sentenced to three years of post-release supervision.

Parker was arrested last Sept. 11 following an investigation into drug activity in Saratoga Springs.

Bernard J. Lynch, 23, of Longmeadow Drive, Mechanicville, was sentenced to two years in prison on his guilty plea to a second-degree criminal sex act. He will also serve five years of post-release supervision and have to register as a sex offender.

Lynch was arrested last year in connection with an incident in Ballston in 2009.

Henry J. Ostrander, 45, of Malta Avenue, Ballston Spa, was sentenced to one to three years in state prison for felony driving while intoxicated. He was arrested last June in Milton. After his release, his vehicle will need to have an alcohol-sensing ignition interlock device for three years.
