Albany man charged with DWAI, drug possession after traffic stop
GUILDERLAND State police on Saturday arrested Kyle Pianowski, 27, of Albany on charges of felony DWAI/drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Western Avenue in Guilderland.
Pianowski showed signs of drug impairment during the traffic stop, and was also found to be wanted on warrants from Rotterdam and Schenectady, state police said. A search of his vehicle revealed four envelopes containing heroin, 10 hydrocodone pills and a hypodermic needle. Pianowski was arraigned in Guilderland Town Court and sent to the Albany County Jail without bail.
