— Daniel Ciampini scored twice and had an assist, an Union clinched a share of Cleary Cup title with a 5-0 win over Clarkson Friday at Messa Rink.

The Dutchmen got some help from Cornell, which beat second-place Quinnipiac, 2-1. Union has a six-point lead over Quinnipiac. The teams split the season series, but the Dutchmen win the second tiebreaker, league wins. Union has 15, and Quinnipiac has 11.

However, the Dutchmen have not clinched the No. 1 seed. Colgate is six points back with three games left, and have the tiebreaker over Union because it won the season series.
