Two Schenectady residents face contempt counts

Two people face felony contempt counts in unrelated incidents, authorities said. Eric Schottenham, 46, of Mumford Street, was charged Wednesday with pointing a .22-caliber rifle at a woman, threatening her and violating an order of protection, according to papers filed in court. Schottenham faces one count of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.
